The role:
Our lovely People Team is in need of an efficient and detail-focused coordinator to support Netcraft's large student hiring programme and day to day HR administration. Reporting directly to the Director of People and working closely with People Team colleagues plus managers across the business, you can be based in either our Bath or London office, with plenty of hybrid flexibility.
Our student programme runs from approx. August to February every year. This is a full-time role when it is in progress as we work in partnership with multiple universities across the UK, run a high number of events, and process hundreds of applicants. During this period, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and coordinating student recruitment events such as careers fairs, open days and hackathons
- Ensuring we have adverts and application processes in place at all our partnership universities by liaising with the careers officers
- Setting up job listings on our hiring platform and ensuring managers and interviewees are linked and processing applications effectively
- Helping to sift CVs, scheduling code reviews and interviews to final stage, liaising with candidates, and finally sending out offers
- Liaising with universities, student societies and third-party partners as needed
- Administrating sponsorship prizes with targeted universities
- Ordering and managing marketing materials such as booklets and giveaways for careers fairs and open days
From February/March to July/August, you'll provide general administrative support for the People Team, including:
- Supporting the hiring process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews,
- Assisting with onboarding new hires, including preparing offer letters and contracts, scheduling induction programmes and ensuring all documentation is processed, such as background checks and right to work checks
- Assisting with off-boarding activities, such as arranging exit interviews and updating employee records
- Maintaining and updating people records, including employee information, contracts, and benefits documentation
- Supporting purchase orders and invoice processing for the People Team
- Assisting with the implementation and improvement of people policies and procedure
- Assisting with people-related projects such as employee engagement initiatives

What you’ll need to be successful:

Previous experience in HR and/or recruitment coordination roles
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to process high volumes of admin
- A highly organised and methodical approach, with the ability to plan and prioritise efficiently
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and operate calmly in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and solution-focused approach
Bonus points if you also have:
- Previous experience of student / graduate hiring
- Previous experience with using an ATS, and/or experience of BambooHR
- Ability to work accurately with data and produce reports
