We are looking for a People & Culture Manager to join our People & Culture Team based in Daresbury.
About the Role
This is a new role for CTS and is integral to the successful delivery of our ambitious people plans for 2023 and beyond.
As the People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of People & Culture initiatives that align with our business strategy and our ambition of being a great place to work.
You will work closely with our Line Managers across the business supporting and enabling them so they feel confident in managing and motivating their teams.
We are based across 4 locations (Daresbury, London, New Zealand and Norwich) with approximately 180 colleagues.
Your main accountabilities in this role are to:
- Continuously look for ways to ensure a great colleague experience throughout the full employee life cycle, identifying and implementing initiatives.
- Work closely with Line Managers across the business to support, upskill and guide them in managing their teams.
- Work with the Director of People & Culture on the eNPS survey, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions.
- Act as an ambassador for the organisational culture and values, ensuring they are visible, embedded and upheld.
- Create, update, maintain and improve on our People related policies, ensuring they are legally compliant and follow best practice.
- Manage and coach the People & Culture Coordinator.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience.
We are looking for someone that can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Evidence of implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Experience of working closely with Line Managers and can evidence initiatives you have introduced to increase skills and confidence.
- Experience of instilling performance management processes with colleagues and line managers.
- You will have completed CIPD Level 5 (or above) or equivalent.
- You may have experience of line managing people yourself but it’s not essential.
- You’ll be self-motivated and be driven by a desire to make a difference and an impact.
- You will have strong interpersonal skills and can establish relationships with colleagues across the business.
- A willingness to travel to all our offices.

- Annual salary: Up to £55k, depending on experience
