Catering partner, Levy UK are looking for a brilliant People and Culture Manager to join the team and Premier League club, Chelsea FC!
Overall purpose of the role
To develop and oversee the people strategy and embed the Levy UK&I culture with effective communication, engagement, and training by developing industry leading practices to make Levy UK&I at Chelsea a place of choice.
Leading and developing others
- Assisting the HODs to create and maintain a culture of excellence and assist in the building of an efficient and cohesive team by taking an active role in their personal development, through coaching, and creating individual ramp plans alongside the operations team.
- Complete monthly area report detailing actions relating to key areas around people, projects, compliance etc.
- Ensure alongside HOD all managers receive constructive and documented performance reviews on a regular basis with clear development goals that contribute to business improvement.
- To ensure all new managers receive a full induction and training programme and checking this is undertaken effectively.
- Develop training programmes for away days.
Recruitment
- Work in collaboration with the Operations Team to identify internal successors for vacancies and to interview and hire great people that fit the Levy UK&I vision.
- Work in partnership with the Head of Operations to deliver an effective people plan in support of business needs and in line with company objectives and strategy.
- Ensure that all HODs maintain agreed headcount and deliver recruitment workshops to ensure that recruitment is well executed to ensure Levy UK&I hiring standards are maintained.
- Developing effective and innovative ways in which to source candidates.
- Act as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics.
- To conduct exit interviews on all salaried leavers
People administration
- Responsible for coordinating all rotas and ensuring Rotacloud is up to date on weekly basis for FT and MGH contract.
- Monitor monthly TOIL summary and report back to Head of Ops.
- Support HODs to ensure TOIL is taken back within the pre-agreed timeframe.
- Support HODs to ensure that holidays for the FT and MGH team are taken subject to the needs of the business and not carried forward according to the company policy.
- Liaise with management team on all serious complaints, incidents and other irregularities and report to HR Business partner/ GM and Head of Ops.
- Ensure that the disciplinary and performance management processes are effective and that any short-term performance issues are dealt with swiftly and that serious performance or misconduct issues are managed appropriately and within the legal framework with the help of our HR Business partner.
- Personnel files are created and kept up to date in line with Levy Signatures.
