EY’s FS People Advisory Services (PAS) team is an integrated practice of tax, reward and consulting professionals focused exclusively on the financial services market in EMEA and based in Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, London, Paris and Luxembourg with plans to grow in Switzerland, Ireland, Italy and Germany.


An international team of 200 multidisciplinary professionals FS PAS is a strategically important region in EY’s integrated People Advisory Services division which brings together over 11,000 practitioners from Tax and Consulting teams to deliver insight and innovation on people, organisational and compliance issues.


The opportunity is in the Integrated Mobility team based in the United Kingdom working closely with colleagues in reward, employment tax and workforce advisory teams in London, the wider FS PAS region and with PAS and other service lines of the firm globally.

The opportunity

The Integrated Mobility team in the UK is a single team, serving a single, national market with team members located in the London, Bristol and Newcastle offices. It has experienced unprecedented client demand to help with complex mobility issues associated with the pandemic and, the changing nature of work and employee mobility. We are looking for talented individuals with general mobility or mobility compliance experience to join this team in the location of their choice. Support for any relevant professional qualification is available.


The team is truly multidisciplinary in the context of international mobility and the opportunity is to work closely with specialists across personal tax, employment tax, immigration, reward, assignment services and HR consulting to advise clients on their international assignment, short term business traveller, and cross border remote worker programmes.

They range from large multinational banks, to global insurance companies to specialist asset managers, to tech start-ups all of whom demand highly specialist and responsive service from their advisors. Your key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
  • Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
  • Assist in managing the successful delivery of mobility projects, ensuring appropriate technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
  • Keep clients up to date on key legislative changes and the impact this will have on their business
  • Delegating to junior members of staff and assisting with their learning and development
  • Shape the future of the practice as it expands the breadth and depth of services it offers clients through advancement in technology, regulatory developments
  • Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for both EY and clients from the services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both client and the firm

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience of working in Mobility or Mobility compliance (tax, immigration, social security) dealing with compliance issues and advisory projects and where appropriate providing technical advice in your specialist area
