This is a newly created role within the People & Organisational Development Directorate ensuring the integrity of our people data from a varied range of administrative systems, to enable improved decision making to support CNWL to deliver on its business objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor/Business Intelligence Analyst to join us and we are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated candidate with data quality experience.
We are looking for a forward-thinking information professional to help further develop and grow ESR self-service and improve the usage of the Business Intelligence application across the organisation. We are looking for someone who can be creative and demonstrate continuous innovation to develop and improve the reporting systems and processes that we operate to support our workforce strategy and People Plan agenda. You will work closely with People and OD colleagues and others across CNWL in exploring opportunities to use artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics where appropriate to improve and streamline information usage. You will support the quality and flow of data throughout the People & OD team to improve insight into activity, and performance to include future predictions of the workforce.
You will also have the ability to present data in a way which engages and influences the recipients of the data reports.
As the People Advisor/Business Intelligence Analyst you will undertake a specialist role in maintaining and developing data quality assurance processes to continually improve the integrity of our people data and information flows. You will provide specialist advice to the People & OD Directorate based on your expert knowledge of data quality; measurement, monitoring and reporting, audit and control methodologies applicable to multiple administrative information systems and in particular our Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and TRAC systems.

CNWL provide care across the North West London, Milton Keynes and the South East of England. Provide generic HR advice and support as and when required.
As a specialist advisor in all forms of people data and source of professional knowledge support to the People & OD Team to support the Business Partners and Senior Managers across the organisation in relation to the analysis, interpretation and presentation of key Workforce Performance Metrics.
Produce and distribute quality, timely regular and ad hoc reports using our Business Intelligence tools to meet internal customers and external organisations’ requirements. These will include but is not limited to:
Operational management reports, Scorecard measures, Benchmarking analysis and Quality reports
Conveying complex technical information in a manner which is amenable to the system user’s level of understanding.
Provide complex and sensitive routine and ad-hoc reports on performance to internal customers and external parties.
Provide meaningful analysis, interpretation and presentation of highly complex data
Utilise effective communication and persuasive skills to overcome resistance from managers and employees in utilising a range of electronic workforce systems.
Work collaboratively with the Service leads for functional performance data .
Work with clinicians and senior managers to communicate clearly with ease complex data and information issues to a non-information specialist audience, including external stakeholders
Lead and develop a close working relationship with Finance for the purposes of reconciling Workforce and Financial Systems (i.e.: Work structures, financial code mergers).
