PCV / PSV Engineer
£50,000 to £55,000 per annum
Heathrow
Full Time, Permanent
Nights – 4 on 4 off
We are looking for experienced Engineers to join our client's Engineering Team at their Heathrow depot. You will be a key player within the team to maintain and repair a modern / varied fleet of vehicles.
- Earn up to £55,000 per annum. Rate review every 12 months.
- Career progression – If you have ambitions of progressing on to a supervisory or management role, opportunities are available.
- Work a four on four off 12-hour shift pattern, 1800h – 0600h with a 1-hour unpaid break.
New starter incentive payment £2,000
- 1st payment of £500, first payday after completion of company induction.
- 2nd payment of £500, three months.
- 3rd payment of £500, six months.
- 4th payment of £500, nine months.
All payments are subject to tax and national insurance deductions.
See below a few things we require from you:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic
- Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)
- Experience working on buses, coaches, or HGVs
- A valid UK driving license, preferably with a PCV entitlement
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance on their fleet of buses
- Diagnose faults and repair components as required
- Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing
- Attend to roadside breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs
