Job Description Summary

As the Education Leader for PCS, you will own and drive the Training strategy for our Equipment portfolio including within the UK and Ireland.
Position requires frequent interaction with Modality Leaders, Equipment sales, customers, outside vendors/suppliers, and other cross-functional team members (UK regional Sales, EMEA training teams, marketing).

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE Healthcare and competitive products in all modalities

  • Drive the customer training strategy with the Sales teams ensuring a consistent approach with emphasis on train the trainer

  • Be responsible for delivering training to sales teams on all PCS products with the support of the relevant product managers both basic and advanced “train the trainer”

  • Be able to deliver clinical training to the teams clearly explaining the application of the products and the patient benefits derived by their correct application

  • As required use clinical knowledge to assist with investigations into product related incidents

  • Keep up to date with clinical trends across the portfolio

  • Ensure that all staff are trained effectively, and records are kept up to date including Theatre Access course for credentialling

  • Ensure staff are up to date with training and are competent to train customers

  • Manage the use of the Demo suite

  • Coordinate with Education leaders from other modalities in HCS

  • Manage the access to Le Quest training and keep records updated

  • Manage database of customer training

  • Liaise with relevant organisations on credentialling, CPD accreditation and customer records

  • Be fully aware of & comply with GDPR requirements

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or Law is broken.

  • Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Law is broken

  • Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.

  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in sales education ideally with PGCE

  • Clinical qualification

  • Prior experience in healthcare industry of at least 5 years
