About the Role
Wickford Primary Care Network is a friendly and supportive network, comprising three member practices. As we move into a new phase of organisational development, we seek a dynamic and forward-thinking operations manager to support the clinical director in achieving the strategic vision of the member practices. The PCN operations manager will support the PCN clinical director in project delivery and the day-to-day running of the PCN.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Undertaking a wide range of operational duties and the provision of administrative support to the primary care network and team.
- Assisting the PCN clinical director to enchance relationships and engagement with the PCN practices, and other stakeholders across the locality, to ensure a collaborative approach to service development and delivery.
- Ensuring the dissemination of information across the member practices.
- Supporting the administration of any shared learning events.
- Delivery of training and support to PCN staff.
- Supporting all member practices with data quality issues relating to PCN contracts, enhanced services and IIF.
- Project mangement, including delivering, and advising on the delivery of, the strategic vision of our member practices.
- Working alongside the alliance to support the development of an integrated neighbourhood team, in line with the Fuller Stocktake.
About the Candidate

- Experienced with the employee lifecycle and general HR;
- Experienced medical administrators, with excellent IT and typing skills including working knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system;

- Excellent communicators, who work in a confidential, discreet manner and are able to think on their feet in a busy working environment;
- Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail when under pressure;
- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently;
- Able to travel between our 3 practices as required.
