TSG is currently looking to recruit Payroll Administrator to work with an established and reputable manufacturer in Halifax.
About our client…
Our client is an established, reputable manufacturer with c.20 years’ experience doing what they do. They design develop and distribute their products from their site in Halifax but are on the hunt for a new site locally to help with their growth plans over going forward. At present, they turnover several million and employ c.70 staff.
Responsibilities…
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our client's small team.
- Processing employee information.
- Timesheet checks.
- Payroll processing.
- Calculating SSP, SMP.
- Setting up starters and leavers.
- Communicating with relevant departments for payroll information.
- Assisting with payroll queries.
- Processing Expenses.
- Raising adhoc payments when required.
About you…
- Knowledge and experience of using Xero payroll system is not essential but highly desirable.
- Experience of working with M365 – Word and Excel etc.
- Knowledge of HRMC and experience of dealing with them in relation to payroll.
- Pension Schemes – NEST.
- Some knowledge and experience of purchase ledger would also be advantageous.
- Open minded to learning new things within a business – admin related.
