Job description

Are you an HR Systems Specialist looking for an interesting and rewarding role that will make a real difference? As a HR Systems Specialist, you will provide a customer focused first point of contact to all users of our HR/Payroll System, you will collaborate with employees across the business, managing user requests, security management, basic system set up and to understand and investigate issues raised by users, effectively resolve them and where required escalate to others in the team.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working with HR/Payroll or workforce management Systems but essentially you will have excellent customer service skills in a similar role and the ability to learn quickly. You will be a problem solver who likes to investigate why an issue is occurring and how it can be resolved in the long term.

You will have excellent communication skills, pay attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise deadlines. You will be competent in using social media, word, excel and power point as well as having knowledge understanding on the handling and protecting of sensitive data, and the legislation around this.
You will be comfortable working with team members who are based remotely and be able to act as an ambassador for the system across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day-to-day case triage, management, and reporting via ticketing system
  • Proactively investigate and successfully resolve user system issues, escalating complex issues for further investigation to other team members where necessary
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining process guides and documentation to ensure consistent application of changes and set up within the people system
  • Maintain security access and profiles, workgroups, shift patterns and shift premiums, support restructures and changes to Workflows, EMS alerts and User Defined Fields.
