As a Payroll Administrator, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team, taking on significant responsibilities. You will be tasked with processing payroll for various clients, ensuring all information and records are accurate. Collaborating with colleagues and clients to resolve payroll queries will be a core part of your role, and your precise, timely work will ensure smooth transactions and satisfied clients.

Responsibilities:
- Process and manage client payrolls ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Liaise with clients and HMRC regarding payroll-related queries
- Maintain payroll processing systems and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
- Update and maintain employee changes on payroll system
- Comply with payroll tax standards and relevant legislation
- Preparation of reports for internal departments and senior management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of legislation surrounding benefits and pay, including pensions and tax
- Proficient with payroll software, MS Office particularly Excel
- Excellent numerical and communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of confidentiality
- Relevant professional qualification is desirable
