Job description

Clario seeks a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team, handling the accurate processing and recording of our growing company’s multi-location (UK) payroll, providing timely and accurate financial information, and supporting data entry/Payroll processing.
This is a key role in a fast-paced department and has high visibility throughout our UK offices! You will
  • Process payroll in accordance with company regulations and required laws.
    • Process monthly payroll by collecting all employee data, changes and timesheets.
    • With highest degree of accuracy, initiate all payroll checks such as bonus, special payouts, car allowances, etc.
  • Responsible for the processing of timecards in the payroll system on a monthly basis. Must ensure all timecards are approved by supervisors and imported timely to payroll.
  • Process and maintain the payroll component of the Employee Recognition Program.
  • Record all third party sick pay in the payroll system.
  • Process and maintain all garnishments.
  • Record all payroll provider invoices and submit to Accounts Payable for processing.
  • Responsible for monthly audits of time off to ensure the payroll system and Workday HCM match.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all internal clients (e.g. employees), in a knowledgeable, timely manner.
  • Other duties may include:
    • Assist with requests for verifications of employment, as needed.
    • Filing HR paperwork.
    • Assisting in related projects and performs miscellaneous administrative functions to support the global payroll team and/or HR department, or other duties or activities as assigned.

What we seek -
  • Experience in payroll processing required
  • Workday HCM experience helpful
  • Strong MS Office skills with at least Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task and exercise good judgment, tact and confidentiality in all matters
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work well under pressure or time constraints
  • Must be reliable, with strong customer and quality focus
