Edgeview Homes is a leading care provider in the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. We are a growing modern care business and we need likeminded individuals to join our excellent team.
We have an exciting opportunity for the role of a Payroll officer/clerk to support the Central Support team by undertaking payroll duties (ideally knowing the full payroll process) as well as other generalist administration duties as instructed by the Finance Manager, HR Manager and/ or the Senior Management Team as and when required.
The hours of work will be 24 hours per week, working 8 am to 4pm over 3 days to Friday which can vary at times depending on the business needs.
The rate of pay will be £11.50
This role is ideal for someone who is keen to learn and develop within the role and always willing to go the extra mile.
As always any relevant and required training will be provided.
Potential candidates will be required to hold the below relevant qualifications, skills and experience;
- Previous experience as a Payroll Assistant/Payroll clerk/Payroll
- GCSEs in maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent) are essential
- Good general IT skills when using Word, Excel and Outlook are essential. For example you will be proficient in being able to use excel formulas, create graphs and calculate percentages
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Having a full driving licence would be preferable but no essential
The role will be based at Edgeview Nursing Home in Kinver, Near Stourbridge but you will be expected to travel to other units to support the HR team.
