This role forms part of the programme delivery team assisting in the preparation, running and evaluation of parallel runs of the new system as part of the proving and testing process.
The role is for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Main Responsibilities- Responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely transmission of payroll data
- Ability to act as point of escalation for Information and query resolution
- Experience of managing and resolving complex casework arising from payroll related issues
- Demonstrable experience of managing payroll related pension issues and ability to understand policy
- Provide an operational perspective to ensure end to end quality of service
- Understand impact of Service Level Agreements and how these will be met within the system
- Experience in understanding and improving business payroll processes
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 4 years experience as Payroll manager, including leading a payroll team
- Educated to GCSE standards
- Strategic and hands on approach
- Self motivated dynamic individual with a flexible approach to work
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Intermediate to advance Excel skills
- Experience of using multi payroll systems
- Team player
- Respect for confidential information
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Payroll and related modules.
