Deputy Manager – Permanent – London – up to £50,000 per annum – Hybrid basis
Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered with a leading not-for-profit organisation, who are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager, on a permanent basis. As a Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of the Finance department and will be ensuring that each stage of the payroll process complies with due processes and procedures.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new exciting challenge and wants to be part of growing a successful new team, as this business goes through a transition of bringing payroll in house, from an outsourced provider.
The Deputy Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
- Assist the Payroll Manager processing in-house monthly payroll of 4,500 + employees, using Oracle Fusion software
- Running relevant processes to ensure correct rates applied to staff records and implemented in a timely manner
- Logging faults and issues, working collaboratively to resolve issues
- Validation reports for statutory payments and deductions
- Full control and reconciliations of all payments, including statutory and voluntary deductions. Including year-to-date reconciliation of statutory payments and deductions for payroll and pensions
- Statutory year-end reporting and filing; P60s, P11Ds/P11D
Key Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion payroll software is essential
- Strong UK payroll knowledge is essential
- Knowledge of local government pension schemes is desirable
- Previous experience as a Payroll Manager within a similar role is desirable
- Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
