Location: Sheffield / London / Hybrid (Office Attendance 2 Days Per Week)
Contract: 12 Month Secondment / Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time
Salary: Between £50,000 - £65,000 depending upon experience and location

THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our existing HR Team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Operations as Payroll Manager your main responsibilities will be to ensure all BBB employees are paid accurately and on time and also manage Pension contributions process and other salary sacrifice schemes (Cycle, Childcare) for payroll & third party payments. You also be responsible for managing various systems & portals that link to the payroll.
You will manage all aspects of payroll to be covered including PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, SPL, GAYE, court orders, student loans and salary sacrifice schemes (which include Cycle to work, Childcare vouchers & Workplace SIPP).
In addition to this you will also be responsible for processing updated tax codes, Student & Post Grad loans via Government Gateway along with the management of the Payroll System (Payrite) and the relationship with vendor.
To be considered for this role you must have experience of running and managing the end to end payroll process through an external payroll bureau along with previous knowledge of payroll process including benefits.
You will have experience of management of a supplier relationship for payroll and an understanding of PAYE/ NI/ auto Enrolment legislation.
You will need to be IT competent (including knowledge of Microsoft excel) with good mathematical skills.
You must have experience of Salary Sacrifices and taxable liabilities.
