Job description
Seeking an experienced Prevailing Wage Certified Payroll Specialist and Labor Compliance Administrator. Construction background is required.
Position Requirements:
- Process weekly payroll, submit certified payroll reports and other labor compliance documents
- Maintain project specific DIR prevailing wage rates and union pay rates
- Collect and review payroll reports, statements of compliance, fringe benefit statements, apprentice registration, etc. submitted by subcontractors
- Stay current on all local and state compliance requirements, CA payroll laws, CA prevailing wage laws, etc.
- Assist with other accounting duties
Qualifications:
- 2+ years construction industry payroll experience with an in depth understanding of CA Labor Code pertaining to Public Works Projects and California Code of regulations with regards to Prevailing Wage Payroll
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with CA DIR and LCP Tracker
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must pass background check and drug screen requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
