Are you an experienced Payroll Assistant looking for a fresh challenge?
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our ever-growing, friendly team based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This role will present an opportunity to utilise your skill set and support the wider business when necessary.
You would be required to work in our Head Office for a minimum of 2 days.

What the role involves:
  • Assist with checking and processing payroll for weekly and monthly paid employees, as well as timesheets/attendance
  • Deal with emails and calls coming into the payroll team
  • Give assistance to the finance team ensuring payroll related items are correctly processed
  • Assist with payroll compliance (HMRC, pensions etc)
  • Ad hoc projects relating to payroll controls and development, as well as across the wider team

Candidate Specification

What we require:
  • Experience of working in a payroll department
  • Familiarity with an integrated timesheet & payroll software (preferable)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High level of inputting accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
