Payroll Assistant
Full-time - Office-based (Golders Green)
Reporting to Payroll Manager

We are on the lookout for an ambitious, fun and people-focused individual who would like to join us in a capacity of an Payroll Assistant to help in day-to-day activities in the finance/support office team. Please note this role is office based, our Stix HQ is based in Golders Green.

Key Objectives
- Assist with preparation and review of the payroll cycles.
- Effectively organise and prioritise workload
- Making sure employees are paid accurately and on time
- Monitor and respond to queries within the shared Payroll mailboxes.
- Payroll related finance tasks including journals and balancing control accounts.
- Raising BACs payments if and where required.
- Complete any necessary Admin tasks
- Liaise with key stakeholders across Restaurants and Head Office to ensure Payroll information is completed accurately and in line with agreed policies and procedures.
- Be the first point of contact within the Payroll Team for any queries from Hotel / Restaurant Managers and Payroll
- Provide support with project activity as required.
- Along with additional & adhoc duties that may arise.
Experience / Skills:
- Results-driven - people, quality, service, environment, sales & profitability.
- Self-motivated and strong work Ethic.
- Excellent communicator, building powerful relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good Knowledge of Fourth
- Payroll experience or qualification preferred but not essential.
- Experience of managing sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Be a Team player, and work with Integrity.
