Cara Construction core business comprises of Groundworks/Civils on Commercial and Residential projects of various values, up to around £10m. We are now seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our team.
The role is for a payroll assistant duties include:
· Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data.
· Updates payroll records by entering all changes relevant.
· Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave.
· Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
· Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
· Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
· Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
· Administer Ad hoc payroll queries for departments throughout the business as they arise.
· Assist Payroll Manager with all aspects of banking.
· Keeping spreadsheets and Ad hoc duties up to date.
· Ensure duties are carried out according to the Cara Group Management Manual Procedures
Sage 50 Payroll experience is essential, knowledge of EQUE2 is desirable.
Salary negotiable depending on experience - up to £26,000
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
