SUMMARY

EBC Brakes are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our two person HR & Payroll team based in the office, at our EBC Brakes World HQ in Northampton. Here you will be responsible for administering and running monthly payroll services for around 125 employees.

This is a great opportunity join the EBC family in their 40th year, working in a great working environment with modern facilities throughout the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collate and process weekly timesheets;
  • Ensure payroll records are accurate and processed in line with company standards;
  • Process and submit monthly payroll including statutory year end returns and issue P60s. Complete P11d’s and PSA’s at year end and execute effective system of data collection for these;
  • Deal with employee salary and payroll queries;
  • Maintain and update payroll data;
  • Liaise with HMRC where necessary;
  • Process RTI for monthly payroll;
  • Update all statutory payments as appropriate, including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP;
  • Input and submit auto-enrolment pensions data;
  • Process staff expenses payments in line with expenses policy;
  • Running payroll reports;
  • Any other duties as assigned by the HR & Payroll Team Leader.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Previous experience and ability to demonstrate sound competence in a payroll role;
  • Self-sufficient in running monthly payroll and payroll year end;
  • Previous experience of Sage50 Payroll and Sage 200 systems preferred;
  • Must be professional and highly discrete with ability to communicate effectively with all levels;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Can demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including basic Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Holiday entitlement 28 days including statutory bank holidays. Length of service increase of 1 additional day after 2 years, up to additional 5 days after 10 years service;

WORKING HOURS

Flexible working hours available, for between 25-30 hours per week, between the hours 08:00-17:30 Mon-Thu & Fri 08:00-13:00. Would consider four-day week if it meets the minimum hours requirement.

Annual salary: £25272-£27378 full time equivalent (pro rata for part time), depending on experience.
