This role forms part of the programme delivery team assisting in the preparation, running and evaluation of parallel runs of the new system as part of the proving and testing process.
The role is for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain accurate information on spread sheets and databases
- Protect personal data ensuring GDPR compliance in document
- Assist in the processing of monthly payroll including NI, PAYE, and all Statutory adjustments
- Experience in working on Payroll parallel runs
- Perform initial analysis and advice on Payroll reconciliation differences between new system and legacy system
- Administer retrospective payroll changes
- Complete monthly Payroll reports and correct any errors
- Deal with compliance and regulatory requirements, including the rules governing the different pensions schemes and apply these when assisting customers and stakeholders
- Transactional Query resolution and complaint management
- Amend any incorrect year to date figures for all statutory payments
- Research and provide options and solutions to suit business needs
- Proofread and check figures for accuracy
- Maintain invoice files and expense reports
Essential Criteria
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role
- Educated to GCSE standards
- Excellent administration and communication skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and Word
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Respect for confidential information
- Experience of using multi payroll systems
