Main duties of the job

As the key point of contact for the NEPT service, you will attend daily site meetings and liaise with the site team, clinical staff and contractors to ensure that patient journeys are booked and completed within the agreed timescales.


You will assist the site team during times of peak workload to proactively manage the movement of patients and to escalate more complex queries, ensuring that patient flow is maintained within the hospital.


You will also be required to travel to the sites under your remit, monitoring the services provided by contract partners and resolving issues as they arise. In addition, you will provide cover for other sites within the RFL Group in the absence of the Barnet transport manager.


You will need to be customer service focussed, communicating in a polite and friendly manner, and demonstrating tact and diplomacy when discussing the needs of the service user. You will be able to prioritise tasks and manage your workload according to the needs of the service.
