Job description
Have you ever wondered about moving to the care sector, but not sure if you have the right experience or qualifications? Come and talk to us! Our carers come from a variety of different backgrounds, experiences, and sectors but all have one thing in common – they care about people!
We`ve been established for over 50 years, operating in the North East, Yorkshire, and Humberside. We`re passionate about delivering the highest quality care and support for people living in their own homes.
Following a successful contract win with South Tyneside Council, we`re now looking to recruit care workers to strengthen and support our existing teams working in Jarrow and Hebburn.
Being a carer is such a rewarding role, and every day is different. You might be responsible for tasks like preparing and cooking meals, supporting with social activities, assisting with medication, or personal care.
We have a comprehensive induction and training programme, and your community mentor will be there to support you every step of the way!
We value our team members and offer a sector leading benefits package, including:
● Competitive salary of £11.60 per hour, paid travel time at £10.42 per hour, plus mileage payments at 30p per mile
● Paid Medicash Health and Wellbeing plan, 24/7 employee assistance programme, High Street Discount scheme, discounted gym membership, generous Refer A Friend Bonus, Seasonal prize giveaways, and employee incentive schemes
● Career development opportunities, including the opportunity to join our Nurse Associate training programme with the Local University
