Alexander's Patisserie in Mountain View, a bakery and pastry shop with European and American style breads and pastries is hiring for:
Pastry Chef
Looking for pastry candidates who possess a passion for food and pastries, experience with European and American style desserts and in high production, strong basic techniques, works efficiently and can handle the high production work load, is enthusiastic, organized, team-oriented, and passionate. Prepares all pastries in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Works clean and efficient.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations in a fast-paced and dynamic culinary environment.
- Time management skills are imperative
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, is preferred
- Our goal is to work with together to create a memorable experience for guests
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree, or 3+ year’s experience in a professional culinary environment is preferred. We welcome all qualified applicants.
- Practice of all safety and sanitation standards is necessary
- A Food Handler’s Certification is required, and can be facilitated
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, and stand for long periods of time is required
Compensation:
Variable, depending on experience.
