PASTRY COMMIS at one of Central London’s most unique showcase cafesTitle: Pastry CommisAbout Qima Coffee and Qima CaféQima Café marks an exciting new chapter for Qima Coffee - a globally recognised coffee sourcing and trading business that specialises in discovering and offering some of the world’s finest coffees, with the aim of generating sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farmers .Our central London café showcases our specialty coffee concept to our existing B2B client base as well as the wider public in a truly unique, immersive coffee experience. The café serves to showcase and feature the most progressive concepts and ideas in specialty coffee, including living income coffee prices, single farmer traceability, innovative fermentations, coffee and dessert pairings, and much more.In line with its ethos of offering some of the world’s finest coffees, Qima cafe will look to pair those coffees with pastries and desserts of an equally exquisite standard. The cafe will explore the boundaries between pastries/desserts and coffee with the aim of offering the two as a single, complementary pairing, as opposed to two separate products.The OpportunityAs Pastry Commis, you will work closely with our Head Pastry Chef in the formative stages of a growing and very exciting high-end Cafe.Assisting the Head Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie, ensuring that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
