As part of our ongoing desire to support flexible working we have an exciting opportunity to join the committed pastoral team at Manor Church of England Academy as a Pastoral Support Officer working 15 hours a week on a term time only basis. This role will support the welfare and progress of students in their learning, behaviour and transitions as well as lead on pastoral support to pupils, providing advice and guidance and implementing agreed plans to encourage learning and overcome barriers to learning. The post holder will work with students in school who are experiencing complex emotionally demanding situations due to outside influences, requiring sensitivity.


The right candidate will have an understanding of supporting with pupils with SEND needs and/or significant social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and have an empathetic, nurturing supportive approach.
