Are you looking for a new challenge this year, if so, we have an exciting opportunity to join as the Passes and Permits Clerk, supporting RAF Boulmer.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to work within a high-profile customer facing role. As the Passes and Permits Clerk, you will be responsible for the effective application of the Control of Entry Policy on behalf of the Station Commander.

Job description
The Passes & Permits post is the primary front face of RAF Boulmer. RAF Boulmer, like all other RAF Stations is mandated to operate a strict security-controlled access to the Station and the Passes & Permits post delivers that control by the issue of a Passes & Permits service for both the Administration and Operational sites of the Station.
Principal duties of the post are to receive and direct visitors and carry out the administrative tasks related to the security and entry of those personnel to the Station. You are the first point of contact for many face-to-face and telephone enquiries; the role is the public face of the Station. You will therefore have a polite confident manner and take pleasure in meeting and helping a wide range of people. You will deliver a quality and professional service to all customers, resolving day-to-day enquiries ad issues where possible.
During non-customer contact time, the role delivers several other administrative support services to Station Commander and OC RAF Police.
The duties/responsibilities described for the post are as it is at present and is not intended to be exhaustive. The Job Holder is expected to accept reasonable alterations and additional tasks of a similar level that maybe necessary. The post does not offer relocation expenses.
