Purpose of the Role

A commercial, managerial role with responsibility for delivery of targets for the IAGC interline and partnership activity as well as exciting new strategic partnership projects. To create an effective and profitable network capability, for the group and build relationships with key stakeholders within IAG Cargo, and with partner airlines and interline carriers. To champion and lead the partner airline customer proposition within IAG Cargo. To develop IAG Cargo’s partnership programme ‘PartnerPlus’, to drive performance, innovation and cooperation. To manage a team of 2 Partnerships & Interline Executives, as well as 1 Product Owner and develop skills and capabilities across the team and beyond.
Reporting into the Head of Network & Alliances, the role has three direct report and is based at the IAG Cargo headquarters in London Heathrow.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the transformation of the IAG Cargo interline & partnerships proposition and strategy in a changing cargo market.
- Manage a team of 2 Partnerships & Interline Executives and 1 Product Owner to deliver key performance indicators and exceed expectations.
- Support the delivery of the IAG Cargo network strategy, in relation to airline partnerships.
- Own interline performance data and drive forward new more efficient processes.
- Own and bridge the relationship with outsourced capacity operations, to ensure existing and new agreements and programmes are delivered to a high standard and on time.
- Relationship building with key interfaces within the interline and alliance teams of key partner airlines.
- Stakeholder management of commercial teams within IAG Cargo to drive utilisation of the programme and ensure high levels of understanding.
- Support on targeted projects, such as airline JBAs and commercial contracts for IAG Cargo and in support of overall IAG objectives.
- Support for the delivery of effective third-party airline capacity to IAG Cargo.
- Provision of analysis to enable the management of interline processes, relationships and financial performance.
- Analysis and assessment of new commercial network opportunities to progress to implementation where recommended.
- Embrace new technology and drive forward new processes and working practices to advance partnership activity.
- Develop, manage and deliver ad hoc projects.
- Support other areas of Revenue Optimisation when required and needed.
- Ability to travel for meetings overseas if required.
