Metaprise is a payment network company that operates across borders. Our headquarters is located in New York, USA, and we also have offices in London and Shenzhen. We provide reliable merchant processing services, cross-border payment banking services, and Pay by Metaprise wallet services to global financial institutions and banks. Our main product lines are Payin, Payout, and Wallets. To date, we have facilitated several billion US dollars in transactions annually, with most of them originating from the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union region. At Metaprise, we aim to revamp the global Cross-border Clearing Payment System to make it more widely used and efficient. We launched our multi-currency account in 2021, and it has already helped tens of thousands of businesses manage their money across the world. About The Role: We’re looking for a Partnerships Development Director to help support our expansion plans in the UK. This is a unique and exciting pioneering opportunity to help grow Metaprise in the UK, allowing our business customers to move money by using our services. You will be figuring out a new market entry strategy and executing on it, managing critical relationships with payment service providers and banking partners. Through your work, you will have the ability to directly influence our product capabilities for the region. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and implement the strategy in the UK and EU market Identify target partners Explore and identify optimal growth strategies for Metaprise in the UK, fostering valuable partnerships to enhance our services Co-ordinate and compile essential documentation and applications, such as manuals, business plans, forecasts, and contracts, while supporting all local requirements for successful partnership onboarding and product launches Collaborate with the product team to prioritise market expansions, potential product enhancements, and innovative features Nurture and establish robust alliances with financial institutions, including banks, payment companies, and card schemes, in the region Work alongside the compliance team to grasp the complexities of existing and emerging regulations, guaranteeing our product and infrastructure comply with all relevant guidelines Manage and maintain partner relationships by providing solutions for our partners, as well as offering ideas and methods to increase revenue and grow partnerships Lead new top-of-funnel partnerships driving acquisition as well as bottom-funnel partnerships driving revenues Lead the negotiation, structures, and management of partner agreements About You: Strong knowledge in compliance, payment partners and expansions Expertise in FinTech, payments, or regulatory matters Proven track record of establishing business connections with financial institutions in the UK and EU Exceptional at managing external relationships with financial institutions Effectively collaborating with their risk and compliance teams Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced start-up environment Committed to making a positive impact on the financial industry's transformation Additional credit if you have prior experience in submitting license applications within a heavily regulated sector We understand that in reality, exceptional individuals may not always perfectly match every requirement.
