We have a fantastic new opportunity to join Age Co’s friendly and supportive team as a Partnership Manager.
The Age Co brand was developed by Age UK and its trading companies for the sale of a variety of products and services, all designed to meet the needs of older people, providing excellent service and support at a fair price. The profits made by Age Co fund some of the vital services and support Age UK provide to older people in need.
As Partnership Manager you will be our partnership subject matter expert, actively supporting and embedding our strategy; whilst managing products, relationships, and partnership related services.
In this multi-faceted role, you’ll oversee financial, product and partnership service performance, streamline communications, and seek internal and external insights to expand and share knowledge of regulation, industry, competitors, and customers.
Age Co work closely with their partners and pride themselves on effective communication and a strong personable rapport with their partners, to ensure their customers are provided with the best possible service. We are therefore looking for a proactive, self-starter with proficient communication skills, as well as demonstrable experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This fantastic role offers home-based working with the occasional travel requirement for team and partner meetings (around twice per month) The successful applicant of this role will primarily be working from home but must be UK based.
If you are an experienced relationship manager, with a strong solution focused approach, and would like to utilise your skills to support a brand that helps fund vital services and support across the UK, then this may be the role for you.
Must haves:
- Proven ability in establishing strong collaborative working relationships with key internal, external and industry stakeholders.
- Experience in maintaining excellent relationships with product partners, being consumer and market orientated with a clear focus on the outcome.
- Able to demonstrate commercial acumen, contract experience, negotiation and influencing as well as strategic sales and business planning.
- Relationship/partnership experience or degree level qualifications.
Great to haves:
- Understanding of the issues facing older people.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Experience of working with regulation and governance oversight.
