Partnership Business Development Manager
London
As a Barclays Partnership Business Development Manager, you will have an exciting chance to be in charge of prospecting and managing sales relationships with enterprise B2B Procurement, ERP Partners and Merchant Acquiring partner organisations, across targeted industry verticals. You will focus on developing opportunities with new partners. You must be a partner and relationship orientated sales person, who is self-motivated and driven to succeed.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Managing Key B2B issuing partnership relationships
- Working alongside partner to enhance our mutual capability and distribution opportunities
- Developing cross-product opportunities with our partners to drive further value with our banking colleagues
- Collaborating internally to influence our product roadmap with the assistance of the proposition team
- Developing a deep understanding of the potential partners business, becoming the trusted advisor on their payment needs and looking ahead at their longer term strategy
- Identifying new opportunities for growth and new revenue streams that align with the Partnerships direction of travel
• A self-starter who knows the complexity & has a background in winning new business via Partners and Integration Partners
- You will need proven new business development skills
- Highly effective communicator and negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and a background in the payments industry
- Ability to work side by side with product, propositions & sales teams in order to grow partnerships
- Good commercial acumen
- Knowledge of relevant third party suppliers, partners e.g. technology and platforms

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
