The Participation Team work to support and empower children and young people to have a voice about the decisions that affect them. This includes how we plan, deliver and evaluate services. The team also works alongside colleagues in the development of policy and practice to ensure children and young people are kept at the centre of children’s services.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?- Someone who is very organised, a completer finisher.
- Highly motivated with good attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Exceptional people skills, and able to work with all ages.
- Understanding of the needs of looked after children.
- Experience in working with children and young people is desirable.
