Part-Time Water Treatment Technician
Location: Warminster
Salary:£24,500 – £26,250 pro-rata (£12.73 - £13.64 per hour) depending on experience
Role Type:6-month Fixed Term Contract, Part-Time, 22.5 hours per week

As part of our front-line operations, the Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for ensuring both planned and reactive work is completed to a high standard and to deadline. This role will be based at our Warminster Sewage Treatment Works and the role is initially offered as a fixed term contract with the view to extend for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating and maintaining our wastewater assets to ensure what we return to the environment meets Environment Agency standards
- Carrying out duties working both inside and out, including working in varying weather conditions and some work in confined spaces
- Providing a maintenance and repair function for the site which will include grounds maintenance
- Recording accurate information and feedback in real-time using portable IT and communications equipment
- Maintaining lines of communication with all parties concerned and ensure that all actions are completed in the event of a reactive incident
What You’ll Bring:
- Mechanical skill, knowledge or practical experience within a similar role
- Experience of using IT and portable devices
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage your time effectively and identify time-saving opportunities
- The ability to complete work in line with targets and deadlines
- Comfortable to work with chemicals once trained to do so
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work alone and outdoors in all weather conditions
About you:
Due to the nature of sites on which we operate, the successful candidate must:
- Meet the security clearance requirements for the role which includes, but is not limited to, the successful candidate being a full-time resident of the UK for the past 5 years
- You must be able to travel to site independently
