About us
VGN Boulevard a vegan street food Eatery in the heart of Stourbridge is looking for a hard-working, proactive Front of House member of our team with a full understanding of the vegan lifestyle and culture from the inside out.
About you
As an integral "hands on" member of our VGN team, you'll form part of a growing team in a customer focused compassionate environment working in the restaurant front of house, where you will be responsible for:
- Making hot and cold drinks
- Payment transactions
- Running food to customers
- Running drinks to customers
- Clearing tables
- Wiping down tables
- Setting tables
- Maintaining food caddies
- Assisting in the kitchen with washing up when required
- Educating customer on the virtues of a vegan lifestyle
- End of night clean down
- Maintaining your uniform standards
Knowledge
Experiance in Hospitality/Restaurant work is essential .A good understanding of vegan foods would be beneficial as you may be asked to assist a customer.
Knowledge of working as a Barista with plant m*lks would be ideal but not essential.
Qualifications and skills
- Understand basic numeracy and literacy
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dedicated to food quality and control
- Food Hygiene (preferred, but not essential)
- Flexible
- Ability to prioritise work
- Good communication skills
