Telesales/ Customer Service Advisor Full or Part Time
Oakhouse Foods is a home delivery company delivering high quality frozen meals, a range of essential household goods and a range of pureed and softer meals. Outstanding customer service is critical, building relationships with our customers is fundamental and having a pro-active "can do" attitude is essential.
The role
Working as part of a small team to provide an excellent and personal service to our existing and new customers
Responsibilities
· Building a relationship with customers to maintain repeat business
· Contacting new enquiries in a timely manner
· Completing all daily activity calls
· Log all orders on SAP system correctly
· Maintaining the customer database to a high standard
· Supporting all areas of the business by communicating customer needs
· Working efficiently with Head Office on customer campaigns
Skills
· Strong background in a telephone-based customer service environment
· Caring and professional telephone manner
· Proficient with inputting data and maintaining a customer database
· Ability to build strong relationships with customers
· Excellent time management and organisation skills
· Team player who can help in other areas of the business when needed
· Competent computer skills including Microsoft packages
The ability to drive is a bonus.
Location
- You will be based at our warehouse in AL1, St Albans where there is free on-site parking available
Hours
- You will work a five day week (Monday to Friday) with the core hours from 0900 to 1700. You may, from time to time, be required to work additional hours which may include different start and finish times as well as occasional weekend work. As much advance notice will be given for this as possible.
- Part time hours will also be considered,
Holidays
- You will be entitled to pro rata allocation of 25 days holiday per year once you have successfully passed your probationary period. The holiday year will run from 01 April through to 31 March. All holidays must be agreed in advance with your manager and are subject to approval.
