Social Media Assistant / Digital Marketing Assistant
Location: Northampton
Salary: £1,000 to £1,200 per month
3 days per week 8:30am - 5:00pm
Carbon Factory is currently looking for a candidate who can assist us on various marketing initiatives to grow the company's social media following and their digital presence.
The role will require the candidate to create contents and materials, including but not restricted to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and various online forums. The successful candidate will be positive, conscientious, a team player and driver to advance the company’s reputation to a professional high end customer experience. Social Media Assistant role:
- You will be working closely with the director and creating campaigns as well as creating social media content and posting it.
- Scheduling release of content at optimal times, being accountable for scheduling posts on time and accurately while monitoring engagement and providing feedback for every post
- Keeping the track of exiting promotions and updating it regularly.
- You will be responsible for managing promotions and advertisement on company's website.
- You will be analysing and improving current promotions and advertisements.
- Keep aligned with social trends and topics, identifying new opportunities and avenues to test
- Review sales reports, along with other data sources including website and email analytics to identify potential social media themes and content
- Ensure all content calendars are in line with the Company's business commercial goals
- Response to potential customers’ enquiries on various Facebook group and forums.
- Be current across all new emerging technologies and social communities
Requirements for the Social Media Assistant role
- Previous experience in a marketing or social media role.
- Outstanding knowledge of social media platforms, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, car forums etc
- Computer literacy, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
- Copywriting skills with attention to detail is essential
- Excellent time management.
- Proactive approach, self-motivated, to use your initiative
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary: £1,000.00-£1,200.00 per month

- Northampton, NN7 2EU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)
- car industry: 1 year (preferred)
