Job Purpose

Working as part of the Internal Sales team, reporting to the Sales Support Manager, this post will be responsible for various administrative tasks, data input and report creation, in an efficient and accurate manner on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is to assist and provide support to the Sales Department, duties of this post will include, though not be limited to:

  • Compile and circulate sales reports
  • Send customer stock lists
  • Work closely with sales team and support their needs
  • Maintain and update customer records
  • Assist in taking customer telephone calls
  • Daily House Account order processing
  • Collation of product data to enable customer web listings

Skills / Attributes Required

Essential:

  • Intermediate level Excel skills
  • Accurate processing skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good standard of IT skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
  • Highly organised and a self-starter with a proven ability to multi-task and use their own initiative to solve problems
  • Reliable and committed approach to work
  • Friendly and helpful attitude with good communication skills

Desirable:

· Knowledge of Sage X3 system or similar level (ERP) accounts system

· Experience of working in a distribution or retail business

· Experience of Multi Currency transactions

Terms and conditions

Monday – Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 9:00am to 2:30pm, with some flexibility if needed. Negotiable to suit personal requirements.

Holiday entitlement is 22 days per annum, pro rata.

The company operates a pension scheme.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 26.5 per week

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
