Front of House - £27.000 - £31,000 pro rata
An award-winning Design based studio is looking for a permanent part time Front of House/receptionist to share the front of house activities alongside another as a job share. This position is needing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday studio-based assistance. Hours 8:30- 5:30 . Offices in Islington.
An immediate start is available, and the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate some front of house/reception-based experience in an office-based setting, preferably within a design led/creative/architecture environment. They are looking for a self-motivated, friendly, and professional individual who has a high attention to detail, with excellent communication skills and an interest in the Arts and Architecture.
Reporting into the Directors PA, responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day studio and facilities, including opening up the offices, daily studio walk arounds and booking repairs and dealing with contractors
Booking and organising taxis/couriers, logging carbon data, dealing with incoming/outgoing post. ordering stationery and kitchen supplies
Screening calls and delivering accurate messages in a prompt and professional manner
Being the first point of contact, meeting and greeting guests, informing staff their guests have arrived.
Meeting room responsibilities, including set up of all AV/IT requirements, refreshments/catering, room timekeeping and clear up.
Managing archiving and collection/retrieval of models and documents.
Communicating internal events such as creating and circulating information/posters for lunchtime talks, Project Forum, summer/Christmas party; keeping the Intranet home page up to date with internal event information
Being the first point of contact for building concierge and security guards, issuing fobs, keys and maintaining internal records
Being the first point of contact for the cleaning operatives, maintaining communication on activities/ordering of supplies
Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of staff including inducting new starters on the premises and health and safety as well as organising leaving gifts, drinks
Managing the info@ email address daily
Managing and collating presentations for the monthly Studio Meet
Supporting the Assistant Practice & HR Manager with studio QA compliance including Health & Safety requirements
