Our studio, based in Horsforth, Leeds, has been a family-run business in Yorkshire for over 30 years. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated individual to work part-time and contribute to our esteemed establishment.
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks within our dynamic and creative studio environment. As a Junior/Trainee Photographer/Viewer/Booker, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the photography business. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our experienced team members to enhance your skills in photography, client management, and studio operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior photographers in various photography projects, encompassing setup, lighting, and post-production tasks.
Engage with clients in person and remotely, ensuring exceptional customer service by understanding their requirements and exceeding their expectations.
Manage bookings and appointments, plus maintain an organised schedule.
Perform photo editing and retouching tasks to uphold the highest quality standards in our deliverables.
Support the maintenance and organisation of studio equipment and props.
Participate in team meetings, sharing your insights and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our services.
Requirements:
Possess a genuine passion for photography and a strong eagerness to learn and advance within the industry.
Preferred basic knowledge of photography techniques and equipment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients face-to-face and over various communication channels such as telephone and Zoom calls.
Strong organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in photo editing software and computer skills.
Flexibility to work part-time, including at least one weekend day per week, with the remaining hours distributed across 1-2 midweek days.
Ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
