We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a part time (16 hours per week) permanent Hotel Receptionist at the Telegraph Hotel, Coventry.
Who are we:
An iconic building at the very heart of the city centre, the hotel evokes the famed mid-century 1950s architecture of Coventry and will be a reflection of its former life as a thriving newspaper and printer works. It will feature 88 air-conditioned bedrooms, several of which will be duplex penthouse suites, as well as a stylish restaurant in a glazed courtyard, meeting, event and conference space, alongside a rooftop bar overlooking Belgrade Square.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate would possess outstanding communication skills.
Direct experience with hotel businesses is not required however, though some knowledge of the industry would be beneficial, as would experience of working in a customer experience focused role. The ideal candidate would be both resourceful, efficient, and with an outstanding eye for detail.
Duties will include:
· Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
· Deals with guests promptly upon arrival and departure, as per Company Standards for check in and out procedures.
· Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as local area. Therefore, ensuring our guests are assisted effectively.
· Professionally and competently operates the telephone system in line with both operating and Company Standards.
· To ensure a professional appearance and manner to all visitors, resulting in positive PR both internally and externally.
