Job description
The Heathfield & Firs surgery are looking for a part-time Hatch Assistant to work within our dispensing team.
Duties will include:
- Processing repeat medication requests via email and paper slip.
- Answering general enquiries via face to face and by telephone.
- Dealing with general dispensing enquiries.
- Liaising with GP's.
- Organising completed medication requests.
- Cashing up.
- Documenting patient prescriptions for local chemists.
Essential requirements:
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good organisational skills
- Team player.
- Basic IT skills.
- Flexible.
Important skills, but not necessary:
- Knowledge of NHS system software.
- Excel spreadsheets.
Pay is £NMW which is due to increase as of April 1st
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week
Salary: £9.50 per hour
