Freedom Couriers is a UK-based courier company that provides fast and reliable delivery services across the country. We are seeking a part-time digital marketing specialist to join our team and help us expand our online presence. You would also be working with 3 other businesses within the Freedom group. This position would be ideal for a university student looking for part-time work to fit around their studies. As a digital marketing specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, and analysing data to improve our online performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media, email, and website
- Create engaging content for our website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns
- Analyse data to track campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing strategies and ensure consistency across all channels
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends
- Maintain and update the company's website and social media channels
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in a similar role (though training will be provided)
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience with social media marketing, email marketing, and website management
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills
- Proficient in Google Analytics and other analytics tools
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- A passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies
Education and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a university student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in digital marketing is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, is a plus
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position, with flexible working hours to fit around your studies
- Based at our UK office, with occasional remote working possible
- May be required to work some weekends or evenings
