Northern Security Is a successful ACS approved, gold standard accredited Security Company currently recruiting for a Part Time Control Room Operator.
If you are an excellent communicator with a great telephone manner, a diligent and accurate administrator with strong IT skills then we would like to hear from you. Whilst previous experience in a Call Centre/ Control Room environment, (not necessarily in security), is preferred it is not essential as full training will be given.
Salary
£12:00 per hour plus overtime and holiday cover options
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Manage all incoming calls, prioritise and respond according to company procedures and industry requirements, following procedures at all times and escalating where appropriate
Maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and occurrences using the appropriate systems and reporting tools
Officer welfare calls, dealing with and resolving ‘dropped shifts’ / absence cover.
Dealing with Alarm activations and monitoring CCTV
Liaising with and supporting mobile response units
Skills & Experience:
We welcome motivated frontline SIA licenced candidates who are seeking a chance to develop skills within the security sector or those who possess relevant and transferable expertise from a comparable role / industry.

Natural problem solvers who are able to multi task and prioritise.
Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal) including a polite professional and welcoming telephone manner.
Strong IT and administration skills. Attention to detail and accuracy of reporting is essential.
