Job description
Part time book-keeper required to work 1 day per week (approximately 6 hours) on a self-employed basis at our company premises. We are a small family run engineers supplies business in Coventry and currently have 5 employees.
The Book-keeper Role :-
General Book-keeping
Payroll
Managing pensions (NEST)
Month end processes
Preparation and Payments to HMRC (VAT, CORPORATION TAX etc.) liaising with them as necessary
Sales and Purchase Ledger (chasing Debt payments and paying suppliers when payments due) including foreign currencies
Bank reconciliation
Liaising with our Accountants
Ad hoc duties as required
Available last day of each month to close sales.
Experience you need to apply for this Book-keeper position :-
Accounting qualification and experience in a similar role
Full knowledge of SAGE
Payroll experience
Ability to work without supervision
Positive can-do attitude
Excellent communication skills
