Applications are invited for a fixed term (to 31.9.2024), part time administrator, working 3.5 hours per week in the School of Arts and humanities on the Frozen Future project.

The post holder will support the dissemination of the Frozen Future research under the guidance of the Principal Investigator. The key Frozen future outputs are public events of different kinds: exhibitions, assemblies, workshops, screenings as well as more a conventional academic conference. The success of all is dependent upon an administrator with excellent organisational skills and understanding of collaborative arts research processes. The undertaking of ‘impact’ questionnaires and interviews at, or just after, public events are also part of the Frozen Future Administrator’s role.

The successful candidate will be a person with proven knowledge of arts and humanities research practices alongside experience of the arts and humanities research administration. Knowledge of the RCA’s internal administration systems as well as understanding of the research cultures of the College will be an advantage.

You will have a postgraduate qualification or equivalent, with experience of working in an arts and humanities university research culture and to liaison with external stakeholders, partners and audience in the cultural sector. You will have excellent verbal and communication skills, ability to use Microsoft, Abobe, Zoom and Google software packages.

The ability to be an effective and collaborative member of a team, working constructively with both the Frozen Future researchers, the wider RCA research community as well as local and international communities of interest.
