Job description
Well established Birmingham city based residential agency and block management company with clients in West & East Midlands. Looking for an individual to work alongside a small team. We are seeking a part -time Accounts Assistant level 2/3 AAT qualified or working towards qualification, working with Sage 50 or equivalent. We operate a property CRM system and will provide the necessary on the job training.
Minimum 21 hours per week, salary £12 per hour based on experience.
General Duties
- Inputting sales and purchase invoices
- Undertaking bank/creditor/debtor reconciliations.
- Assist with the production of weekly cashflow reports.
- Assist with the process to produce and issue service charge demands and statements for residential developments.
- Provide credit control to include day to day liaison with leaseholders via telephone and email.
- Assist with general queries.
- Assist with and oversee block management supplier invoices, payments, and the issue of remittances.
- Update and maintain excel spreadsheets.
- Assist with the production of weekly service charge arrears reports.
- Assist accounts manager with the monthly and year-end accounting.
Candidate Requirements
- AAT level 2/3 or working towards qualification.
- Experience of Sage 50 or equivalent.
- Familiarity with a property software system beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be provided.
- Open to learn new accounting processes related to the property industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrate flexibility, able to work as part of a small team or on their own.
