Part 1 Architectural Assistant (Year out placement)
Birmingham, Fixed Term Contract
We have opportunities in our Birmingham studio for bright and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistants to contribute to the delivery of our diverse portfolio of high-profile projects in the Residential, Education, Process-led, Retail, Workplace and Healthcare sectors.

The Role
We are looking to recruit talented and appropriately qualified Architectural staff to join our Birmingham Studio, situated within a recently refurbished listed building on Edmund Street at the heart of the business district. You can find out about our Birmingham studio here:

As a Part I Architectural Assistant you will work within the project team, contributing to the delivery of an array of challenging projects to the highest quality, developing your architectural skills and expanding your experience of practice in a stimulating environment.
The Person
You will:
- have achieved RIBA part I and demonstrate a strong interest in architectural design
- be skilled in architectural communication. Your portfolio will illustrate clarity in design thinking and delivery of coherent and beautiful designs
- have the confidence and ability to present and explain ideas
- be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- be proficient in managing your workload to achieve tight deadlines
- be creative and practical, reliable and punctual
You will also have skills in the following:
- Adobe Creative suite
- Revit 3D plus Microstation or AutoCad 2D experience
- Microsoft Office

These roles will be on Fixed Term Contracts for 12 months
