Job description
Absolute Recruitment are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work as Parcel Sorters for one of their well-established clients in the Crewe area, a UK leading parcel distribution company, with great career opportunities for the ideal candidate.
Temp to permanent opportunities are also available.
The rate of pay is £10.50 per hour, rising to £11.00 per hour after 12 weeks.
Both full and part-time positions are available!
As a Parcel sorter, your duties will be:
– Working in a modern warehouse
– Unloading and loading vehicles
– Scanning and sorting parcels on a production belt
The role involves manual labour and working as part of a team to ensure warehouse targets are met and deliveries are dispatched within the required timescales. This is a fast-paced environment, and a good level of verbal and written English is required.
The ideal Parcel Sorter will have a keen eye for detail to ensure correct goods are always picked, display a good attitude and conduct themselves in a professional manner, be reliable, have good timekeeping skills, and be prepared to be flexible with start times.
They must work to an accurate standard ensuring quality is met, be structured, and able to work on their own or work as part of a team
No previous experience is required as a Parcel Sorter as full training will be given.
Pay Rates & Benefits
- £10.50 – £11.00 per hour
- Shift times generally start from 8pm until 7am.
- You will be required to work 5 out of 6 nights, including weekends.
