About the Role
- Triage and treat patients making any necessary referrals to other members of the organise admission if required.
- Assessing and treating patients presenting with minor or acute illnesses
- Promote self-management where appropriate, including signposting patients to other community or voluntary services.
- Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective and remains within boundaries of competence, and to acknowledge limitations
- Support with Audits and long term conditions.
About the Candidate
If you are an experienced Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) / Paramedic wanting a new change in your career, we would love to hear from you.- Educated to degree/diploma level in Paramedicine or equivalent experience
- Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
- Has completed their two-year Consolidation of Learning period as a newly qualified paramedic
- Has completed and been signed off formally within the clinical pillar competencies of the paramedic FCP/AP roadmap to practice
- Is working as part of a rotational model, in which they have access to regular supervision and support from clinicians signed off at clinical practice masters level or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license
- Experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
- working knowledge of Microsoft, GP practice and prescribing & data monitoring systems
- Ability to write comprehensive clinical notes, implement and evaluate care plans
- Be aware of data protection (GDPR) and confidentiality issues
- Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to influence and persuade others, articulating a balanced view and able to constructively question information.
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders which are based on openness, honesty trust and confidence
- Strong and inspirational leadership
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise workloads able to multi-task as well as be self-disciplined and highly motivated
